Ink drawing of a "Wunderkammer" from the book of Danish polymath Ole Worm as a main idea for our winning proposal for the competition of the library in the city of Revúca. Book shelf on the perimeter of the main library "room" creates open space for modular elements of tables and small shelves in the middle. Colorful flexible curtain allows to divide multipurpose room according to current needs - kid´s department, cinema, presentation and activity room. New shelf in the office of the head of the library serves as a storage place for book titles, which are not being displayed, with the intention to create more home like atmosphere in the office. Due to a significant reduction in the budget cost, we had to adjust the materiality of the main library shelves - colored plywood had to give way to monochrome laminate instead.
