The proposed renovation of the apartment is located in Bratislava at the intersection of Miletičova and Košická streets near the central market place in the Ružinov district. The high-rise apartment building was built in the 1970s as prototype made of reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton with brick infill and prefab ceilings. The main facades of the house are formed by continuous loggias, which offer a lot of space to the residents of the apartments and at the same time they serve as a shading element in the summer months. The apartment building contains 97 residential units. The apartment is oriented on 2 sides of the building - to the north and west. Its location in the central part of the building already provides nice views above the roof level of the surrounding buildings to Bratislava Castle, Slavín, as well as the panorama of the Carpathians. Our design allows for the optimization of the rooms so that they can provide sufficient comfort for users and at the same time a sufficient amount of storage space for a young family. The proposal does not interfere with the load-bearing structures of the house and only considers the demolition of non-load-bearing infill partitions.
